The new tv season starts fall 2008

season 8 starts on the 18th of september (YaY)
the 1st episode is ‘Odyssey’ and is on the CW channel.

oh and season 8 is most probably the last season although with new producers this year, it could change. Tom wellings contract is only for the 8 years.

season 8 starts on the 18th of september on the CW channel in the U.S.A
it starts on the 20th on the space channel in Canada.
Also The President of the CW Network has stated that Season 8 might not be the last season for Smallville, also well talking with Darren Swimmer (the producer and writer for Smallville) he stated that Season 8 might not be the last as well.
