Originally they said he would not fly and would not wear the suit, but the people in charge of the show have left the show. So the people who are in charge now said still “no” on the suit, but they implied that they might have him start flying. I can’t wait to see.

this isn’t the last season……and i guess he will start dressing like superman around the mid season

the series was originally framed as ‘No Tights, No Flights’,
but as cited the creators have moved on; to ‘Heroes’,
also with the film franchise in flux, I think DC/Warner might be more likely to allow the new powers that be to let him suit up as well
so it is possible that the purchase of spandex has be approved
